The Key Ingredient to Being a Millionaire...
Authors Robert Kriegel and Louis Patler conducted a study with 1500 participants over a 20 year period. Their task? To become millionaires.
Group A consisted of 1245 people, or 83% of the participants.
They had to focus on making as much money as they could first and foremost, with personal fulfillment being secondary. It had to be in that order: Become a millionaire first, do what you enjoy second.
Group B was the remaining 255 participants. Their objective was the complete opposite. Do what you want and love first, worry about the money later.
Question #1: How many millionaires came out of Group A? Out of 1245, over 20 years?
(I guessed 40, or roughly 3%))
Question #2: How many millionaires came out of Group B, the remaining 255 sampled?
(I guessed 20, figuring the percentage would be roughly 3 times greater, or 9%)
