About John Costigan

John Costigan, president and founder of John Costigan Companies, conducts sales training classes around the world for a list of clients that reads like a “who’s who” in the corporate world, including Hewlett Packard, SAS, Exxon-Mobile, Standard Register, Tommy Hilfiger, Concerto, and Slazenger Golf.

Prior to establishing John Costigan Companies, John was a top sales representative and account executive for leading software and Internet companies such as Comdisco, EMC, Virtus Software, and Hey! Inc.

In addition to training corporations, John also hold motivational seminars where he motivates as well as encourages people to change their patterns of behavior in order to achieve both greater business as well as personal success.

With the success of his classes, John released his first CD Set, What to Say and How to Say It, which has been sold in over 16 countries around the world. He also hosts a weekly call-in radio show that addresses the issues and obstacles that salespeople face.

A native of Chicago, John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Northern Illinois University. An ex-professional basketball player and avid fan of athletics, he supports a variety of sports-related charities such as The Cal Ripken Senior Foundation, The Nolan Ryan Foundation, Dave Drevecky’s Outreach of Hope, and The Catfish Hunter ALS Foundation. John has also recently been elected to The Board of Directors for Excellence in the Field of Sales and Education from Northern Illinois University’s School of Business.
